About Stone & Story
You’ll probably notice pretty quickly that I’m a little obsessed with creating a sense of home wherever I land. For as long as I can remember, I’ve found comfort in surrounding myself with things that tell a story — the little details that make a space feel lived in and loved.
There’s something so satisfying about the way textures, colors, and patterns come together: a stack of mismatched linen napkins, the curve of a handmade mug, a side table that wears its water rings proudly. I’ve learned that when I lean into those imperfections, that’s where the real warmth lives.
But more than anything, I’m drawn to the stories behind the spaces we build and the things we fill them with. The reading chair that calls you to slow down for a while. The potter’s initials at the bottom of your favorite coffee cup. The hand-dyed blanket with uneven shades that remind you it was made by real hands, with time and care. Those stories — and the connections they hold — are what make life feel full.
I really believe that, just like we need air and water, we also need connection — to people, to place, and to the things that make us feel safe and grounded.
That’s what Stone & Story is all about: stone for that sense of home we build wherever we are, and story for the ways we share our lives through objects, memories, and experiences.
About Me
I currently call Los Angeles home, where I live with my husband, our two teenage sons, and our dogs — a big-hearted lab named Harley and a mischievous mini goldendoodle named Willa (also known as Willow, Chai, and Little Chomper — don’t ask!). The two of them are inseparable, and like clockwork, they decide it’s playtime the very moment we finally sit down to relax at the end of a long day.
I created Stone & Story with the hope that it is more than just a place to share what’s happening in my world. My dream is that it grows into a space where people can come for some inspiration, to slow down, take a breath, and find a bit of beauty and calm amid the noise of everyday life — and maybe even feel moved to share a little of their own story, too.
